Halloween might be over, but Final Fantasy VII fans might want to make room for some more candy. Butterfinger is teaming with Square Enix and Extra Life and offering a special in-game item for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Rebirth to those who donate during Extra Life’s Game Day on November 4.
Anyone who donates at least $5 to a member of the Butterfinger Extra Life team will be eligible to receive a code for the Shinra Bangle MK. II, a “premium bracelet” which Cloud or another member of his team can wear to boost unspecified stats in FFVII Rebirth. Donations made on the official Extra Life website will be considered for the giveaway.
Along with the free code giveaway, Butterfinger has also opened a new sweepstakes where seven people can win the Butterfinger Ultimate Gaming Bundle. Players can enter by purchasing a Butterfinger, Baby Ruth, 100 Grand, or Crunch bar and entering the UPC code at GameWithButterfinger.com.
The Butterfinger Ultimate Gaming Bundle includes:
- Sony OLED Bravia XR TV
- Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Deluxe Edition digital game code
- Butterfinger-branded gaming chair
- HyperX Cloud headset
- $500 (distributed as an eCheck)
Along with the seven grand prize winners, 25 winners will receive the Butterfinger-branded gaming chair, 100 will receive the HyperX Cloud headset, and 500 will receive digital codes for both Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Winners will be selected on or around February 9, according to the official rules.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth launches February 29 exclusively on PlayStation 5.
