Deadpool & Wolverine 4K Blu-Ray Steelbook Preorders Are Live

Share

The biggest live-action box office draw of 2024 is now available to watch on your couch at home. Deadpool & Wolverine is now available to rent or buy on Amazon Prime Video and other digital-on-demand services, but you may want to wait a few weeks for the Blu-ray release on October 22. The digital version costs $30 to own and $25 to rent. While this pricing structure is normal for blockbusters, all of the physical editions of Deadpool & Wolverine come bundled with a digital copy. Amazon and Walmart are the only major retailers taking preorders for physical editions as of October 1.

Preorders for the limited-edition 4K editions–one with a Deadpool steelbook, the other with a Wolverine steelbook–are available at Amazon and Walmart for $66 each. Both editions come with 4K Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray, and digital copies. The price is likely to drop on both of these, and both retailers offer preorder price guarantees. You’ll pay the lowest offered price until your order ships and won’t be charged until then. Both editions come with 4K Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray, and digital copies.

If you don’t care about steelbook cases, you can preorder the 4K Blu-ray edition of Deadpool & Wolverine for only $30; this version comes with regular Blu-ray and digital editions. Walmart’s exclusive Blu-ray edition is also available to preorder for $34.70; this one comes with standard Blu-ray and digital copies as well as a sleeve with Deadpool pop-up art.

We’d expect both steelbook editions–one for Deadpool, one for Wolverine–and the Walmart-exclusive Blu-ray to sell out. We will update this preorder guide when more retailers open Deadpool & Wolverine preorders. For now, you can check out the trio of limited editions and the list of special features below.

Quick look: All Deadpool & Wolverine Editions

Deadpool & Wolverine 4K Blu-ray Steelbook – Deadpool Variant

$66 | If price drops after you preorder, you will only pay the lowest offered price before your order ships.

There are two limited-edition 4K UHD versions of the film for you to consider. Both come packed with the same bonus content, but they feature exclusive steelbooks. This version is the Deadpool variant, which features an action shot of Deadpool on its cover and a blood-red interior. Some of the bonus content includes commentary from director Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds, multiple deleted scenes, and several featurettes that that go behind the scenes of the hit film.

You can preorder the Deadpool steelbook edition at Amazon and Walmart. In general, Deadpool merch has sold out faster than Wolverine merch, so we wouldn’t be surprised if this variant proves harder to find.

This variant gets you all the same content as the Deadpool variant, but instead features Wolverine on its cover and a vibrant yellow interior. That means you’re free to pick whichever 4K steelbook you think would look best in your collection–or simply grab whichever one is still in stock.

You can preorder the Wolverine steelbook edition at Amazon and Walmart, but it will probably sell out fast.

Deadpool & Wolverine: Walmart-Exclusive Blu-ray Edition

Though it only gets you standard 1080p Blu-ray and digital versions of the film, this Walmart-exclusive version of Deadpool & Wolverine comes with a pretty cool slipcase. Called an “O-Sleeve,” the packaging unfolds to reveal chaotic art featuring a lot of Deadpools surrounding Hugh Jackman’s exasperated Wolverine. If you want some Deadpool pop-up display art, you should probably order soon.

For more Deadpool & Wolverine fun, you can check out a handful of other cool products. One of the best items is Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine: The Art of the Movie (Hardcover), which arrives on October 29. It takes a closer look at the film and features never-before-seen images and artwork from the blockbuster. It’s currently on sale for $90 (was $100). You can also preorder Deadpool & Wolverine: Exposed – Photos From the Set, which is the first Marvel movie to get a book chronicling the production of the film in photographs. It doesn’t release until March 25, 2025, but it’s cheaper than the art book at $60.

Two Deadpool & Wolverine comic book collections released this year, too. Deadpool vs. Wolverine, a collection of crossover comics featuring the duo, was published in March and is available for $25 (was $40). Meanwhile, Deadpool & Wolverine: WWIII, a graphic novel collecting the recent four-issue limited series, was published on October 1 and is available for $14.39 (was $16).
