If you’re in the market for a Nintendo Switch controller, now’s a great time to buy one. The 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth Controller is the best third-party Switch controller, and right now you can snag it for only $56, down from its usual $70. Both the white and black models are available for this price, though you’ll have to click the coupon box below the price to get the deal on the black model. Also, these deals can only be found in these specific listings for the 8BitDo Ultimate, so make sure to click the buttons below to get the best price.
$56 (was $70)
The 8BitDo Ultimate has pro-style customization you won’t find on the official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. It has a pair of ergonomically designed back buttons. The back buttons, along with every other input, can be remapped with the 8BitDo Ultimate Software for mobile, PC, and Mac. In addition to remapping inputs, you can also recalibrate analog stick and trigger sensitivity as well as rumble intensity. You can save up to three custom control profiles to swap through on the fly. It even has support for setting up macros.
As an added bonus, the 8BitDo Ultimate works with PC and Steam Deck, too. It boasts 22 hours of battery life, and this version also includes a charging dock, so you’ll be ready to go for your next gaming session. A dongle is stowed in the dock, so you can connect to your devices via 2.4GHz wireless, too.
Toss in an ergonomic design, motion controls, and Hall Effect joysticks (that prevent stick drift), and there’s a whole lot of value packed into this affordable controller. It’s worth noting that it doesn’t have NFC support for Amiibo, and the vibration, though customizable, isn’t Nintendo’s HD Rumble tech.
Since this is the lowest price ever for the 8Bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth Controller, it’s unlikely to stick around very long. So if you’re in the market for a new gamepad, you should head over to Amazon and cash in on the deal as soon as possible.
If you’d rather get the official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, you can grab one for $64 at Amazon, down from $70.
