Fortnite is ending Chapter 5 with a follow-up to last year’s throwback season with Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix. This shorter season features a nostalgic map with familiar POIs, along with a battle pass, officially called the Remix Pass, featuring 70 items, including five remixed skins based on previous Fortnite Chapter 2 battle pass skins. All of this lasts for four weeks, which will see new POIs added along with new NPCs to interact with, all based on popular musical artists: Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and the late Juice WRLD.
Each week a new artist will be added, with their own special location on the map and new cosmetics available in the shop. Snoop Dogg will be there at the start of the season, with Eminem joining November 7, Ice Spice on November 14, and the music of Juice WRLD arriving on November 21, with the Season concluding with a finale event on November 30.
Also included in the Remix Chapter 2 battle pass are the first Kicks, a pair of red and black Air Jordans. Kicks are new shoe cosmetics, which can be used with many of the skins already in Fortnite, with Epic stating that more than 95% of outfits will be compatible with the Kicks by Spring 2025.
The five remixed skins being added are Chaos Director, 1-Ball, Undercover Skye, Meowdas, and Dynamo TNTina, all of which can be unlocked as part of the premium battle pass, which costs 950 V-Bucks. The battle pass is shorter than normal, to match the truncated season. The full battle pass hasn’t been revealed yet, but you can see all five new skins in images provided by Epic Games below. This article will be updated with the full cosmetic lineup once Remix Chapter 2 goes live.
